RED RIVER AREA SPORTSMEN'S CLUB

     A club organized to promote and improve hunting, fishing and other outdoor-oriented recreation in the Wahpeton-Breckenridge area. The Red River Area Sportsmen's Club meets on the third Thursday of each month, beginning at 7:30 P.M. at the Kidder Recreation Area.

Meetings: Held the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m. Call (701) 642-2811 for location. Next meeting: Thursday, May 17th at Kidder Recreation Area picnic shelter (north Wahpeton). Annual Dues are $10.00.

Special Awards

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Award for being 1st sportsmen's club in United States to cooperatively sponsor a Waterfowl Production Area (WPA) with a National Wildlife Refuge.
Special Projects: Smith Waterfowl Production Area, Food Plots and Habitat Development, Youth Fishing Derbies, Mooreton Lake Projects, Hartleben Waterfowl Production Area, Red River Development, TRACKS Magazine Sponsorship, Deer Hunters Smoker, Hides for Wildlife, Hunter Education, Junior Duck Stamp Contest and Wildlife Nesting Structures.
