SPORTSMEN'S CLUB

Our mission statement is to provide a common meeting ground
for sportspeople and wildlife conservationists by which a united
and organized effort can be made for the propagation, conservation
and protection of all forms of wildlife in North Dakota and Minnesota.
A club organized to promote and improve hunting, fishing and other
outdoor-oriented recreation in the Wahpeton-Breckenridge area.
The Red River Area Sportsmen's Club meets on the third Thursday
of each month, beginning at 7:30 P.M. at the Kidder Recreation
Area.

Dues are $10.00.
Special Awards
U.S. Fish and Wildlife Award for being 1st sportsmen's
club in United States to cooperatively sponsor a Waterfowl Production
Area (WPA) with a National Wildlife Refuge.
Special Projects: Smith Waterfowl Production Area, Food Plots
and Habitat Development, Youth Fishing Derbies, Mooreton Lake
Projects, Hartleben Waterfowl Production Area, Red River Development,
TRACKS Magazine Sponsorship, Deer Hunters Smoker, Hides for Wildlife,
Hunter Education, Junior Duck Stamp Contest and Wildlife Nesting
Structures.
Upcoming Events
The 26th Annual Breck-Wahp Youth Fishing Derby
is scheduled on Saturday, May 30th from 7 AM to 3 PM the Kidder
Recreation Area.
The 11th
Annual Catfish Tournament is scheduled on Saturday, June 6th
from 7 AM to 3 PM at the Kidder Recreation Area.
The 24th Annual Carp & Sucker Derby is scheduled on Wednesday,
August 5th from 1-5 PM at the Kidder Recreation Area.
